Boston Brewing Co. Mexican Lager
We recently welcomed the return of one of our all-time favourite beers, Mexican Lager. This is the third time brewing this recipe, which features the addition of corn and lemon peel to give this light lager a taste of Mexican flair. This beer is all about refreshment, so we’ve made it clean and easy drinking and for ultimate satisfaction.
The beer itself is very simple, brewed with just a few different types of malts and hops, and given a long, slow fermentation. This slow ferment is the key to keeping the flavour light and crisp, which is just what you want from a beer like this. It should come as no surprise that this beer goes well with tacos and other Mexican fare, but it’s also perfect for grilled snags and burgers, pizza, and fried calamari.
